On June 16, 2020, Associate Vice Chancellor/Controller Allison Baird-James notified opens a new window Deans, Directors, Department Chairs, and Administrative Officers that the Composite Benefit Rates (CBRs) for FY20-21 have been submitted for review to UCLA’s federal cognizant agency (the US Department of Health and Human Services, Cost Allocation Services). The CBR is a rate that goes into grant budgets to cover benefits of faculty and staff on grants.
