2024 LLNL Early Career UC Faculty Initiative

The Strategic Deterrence (SD) Directorate of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and the University of California National Laboratories Office (UCNL) at the University of California (UC), Office of President (UCOP) are jointly announcing a new LLNL Early Career UC Faculty Initiative

The winning proposal is planned to commence funding in fall 2024 and is focused on supporting one untenured, tenured-track faculty in the UC system for this initiative cycle.  The technical topic for this call is on Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, with specific details centering on overlapping interests between the UC faculty and LLNL’s programs and mission.
